At MMA & Sports Rehab, we pride ourselves with a detailed examination to evaluate our patients. Our physical therapist’s evaluation includes observation of static and movement patterns, pain provocation tests, active, passive, and resisted tests, specific joint tests, specific ligament tests if appropriate, specific neurologic testing, and functional testing. Rather than simply focusing on the actual painful/affected area, our Arlington physical therapists examine a patient as a “whole person,” determining the source of the problem/tissue dysfunction and determine how the surrounding joints and various tissues can affect the current impairments. We correlate all the findings and provides a specific physical therapy or manual therapy diagnosis, in addition to developing a specific treatment plan for the patient.

“We are excited to announce that we have been awarded one of the Best Physical Therapy Clinic in Arlington – 3 years in a row by Expertise.com. We would like to say thank you to our well-wishers, our beloved patients who put trust with their health and our MSR family! We did it again! Thank you again!”

Our unique approach to sports rehab and physical therapy

We implement a variety of Manual Therapy techniques as part of our treatment approach, including but not limited to joint mobilizations, joint manipulations, soft tissue mobilizations, trigger point release, active release technique, strain-counterstrain, MWM, and myofascial release.

We develop personalized Home Exercise Programs for each patient. As the patient appropriately progresses with rehab, treatment sessions become focused on the patient's specific end-goals and/or returning the patient to his or her sport-related activities.
